    Hey Matt,
    Do you have a source on that last picture? I’ve seen it floating around out there and heard that it might be photo-shopped. As Francis has not yet worn a gold pectoral cross, and he has opted for the larger zucchetto. Both as shown in the “paying of the bill” photo.

    Those pictures have moved me to tears. I’m sitting here wiping my eyes. He’s a living saint.

    • He is a human being. An extraordinary one yes, but a human being nonetheless with all that entails. I am happy to see this side of humanity a true face of love and servitude. May we all follow his example.
